Chris Holbrook left his chance late on in the year to claim the speed record, going out on Sunday in 30knots of wind.
Unfortunatley, although recording a great speed of 33.6mph on his North Vegas kites and North Select kiteboard, he was still just a couple of mph slower than Kev. Better luck next year Chris!

Scott, one of our Kitesurf team riders, has just returned from the town of Mancora, in north-western Peru, after a long trip out there. Congrats to Scott, who suffering with an ankle injury, still entered the wave comp and had his picture in the Brazilian Kitesurf mag, although he’s not riding, but just stood in the middle looking moody!

We’re all green with envy at the pics below of Scott riding uhooked and strapless in lovely warm conditions…time to book some winter sun holidays!

Images of the New Best Kahoona 2010 kitesurf kite have been sent to us. Retaining the delta configuration with uncomplicated graphics, and block colours again for the 2010 season. The Kahoona 2010 is available late March 2010.
